Mulled Hot Nutty Chocolate
- 3 cups SoFresh Almond Vanilla
- 3/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1.5 ounces dark chocolate
- 1/4 cup cocoa
- 1/4 cup boiling water
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- whipped cream
- 3 long cinnamon sticks
- Heat SoFresh Almond, cinnamon, nutmeg and chocolate in a medium, heavy saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir continually, until chocolate melts.
- In a large saucepan, combine cocoa, sugar substitute and boiling water, stirring until a thick paste is created.
- Whisk in SoFresh Almond. Stir over medium until well blended and hot.
- Stir in vanilla extract.
- Serve in mugs, topped with fresh whipped cream and cinnamon sticks.
